Biography of Evie Ryland

Evie Ryland is a fine artist and cartoonist best known for her comic strip, Sun Gone Nova. Her unique artistic style is attributed to training by her artist mother and her satirical and analytical influence is attributed to her chemist father. She was raised in a Texas beach town. She traveled to Pennsylvania and across the United States picking up interesting bits of American culture along the way until finally settling on the west coast. Ms. Ryland's experience as a gallery owner and curator in Arizona led her to become a passionate advocate of the arts in California. In addition to Volume Two of Sun Gone Nova, she is currently developing a fine art book and completing a children’s book for an early 2011 release.
